Description
Load resistor for LED indicators: Never again the wrong blinking frequency!
You’re upgrading your standard indicators to modern LED indicators and notice that they suddenly blink much too fast? This is because LED indicators consume less power. Your original indicator relay is not designed for this and does not register the load correctly. The result: an increased blinking frequency that does not comply with road traffic regulations.
This is where our resistor cables come into play! Each cable is simply connected in parallel to your new LED indicator and simulates the load of a conventional indicator for the relay. The result? Your indicator blinks again at the correct interval and meets all prescribed standards. This way, your LED indicators remain bright and still blink at the right speed.
Technical details:
Resistance: 27 Ohms
Power: approx. 5-10 Watts
Important note: Each LED indicator requires its own resistor.
Another way to solve the problem of fast blinking frequency is to install a special LED indicator relay. Article number: MO1312
