The average lifetime of lead-acid starter batteries is about two years (500 cycles) at just 50% discharge; the average lifetime of Lithium starter batteries is about 1000 cycles (MAX). This basically means that a LiFePO4 jump starter will last at least 5 times longer than a lead acid battery and 2 times longer than a lithium starter, which effectively reduces the overall cost.
